What is the Adopt Me Calculator?

The Adopt Me calculator is a free tool that checks whether a trade is good for you or not. You add the pets and items you plan to give on the “You” side. Then you add the pets and items you will get on the “Them” side. The calculator finds the value of each item from our Adopt Me values list and adds up both sides. After that, it shows you a clear result: Win, Fair or Lose.

You can add up to 9 items on each side of the trade. For every pet, you can choose the right version, such as Neon, Mega Neon, Fly or Ride. A bar between the two sides shows which side is worth more, so you can spot the difference quickly. This means you do not have to work out any numbers yourself while the other player waits for your answer.

How to use the Adopt Me Value Calculator

You can check any trade in a few simple steps. Here is how to use the calculator:

  1. Start with your side. Tap an empty box on the “You” side. This is where you add the pets and items you plan to give.
  2. Find your item. A list of items will open. Type the name in the search box, or tap a category like Pets, Eggs or Toys to find it faster.
  3. Choose the right version. For pets, tap F (Fly), R (Ride), N (Neon) or M (Mega Neon) to match the pet you have. Each version has a different value, so this step is important.
  4. Set the quantity. If you are giving more than one of the same item, change the number to match. For example, set it to 3 if you are giving 3 of the same pet.
  5. Add the rest of your items. Repeat steps 1 to 4 until everything you are giving is on your side. You can add up to 9 items.
  6. Fill in their side. Now do the same on the “Them” side. Add every pet and item the other player is offering you.
  7. Check the result. The calculator adds up both sides on its own. Look at the bar to see which side is worth more. Then read the result: Win, Fair or Lose.

What Win, Fair and Lose mean

After you add both sides, the Adopt Me trade calculator gives you one of three results. Each result tells you who gets more value from the trade.

ResultWhat it meansWhat you can do
WinYou get more value than you give. The trade is good for you. Check the items one more time, then accept if you are happy.
FairBoth sides are worth about the same. Both of you get the same value. It is safe to accept if you want the items.
LoseYou give more value than you get.Ask the other player to add more items, or say no and keep looking.

A “Lose” result does not always mean you must say no. Sometimes a player gives a little extra to get a pet they really love, and that is their choice. Just make sure you know you are losing value before you accept.

Common trading mistakes you should avoid

Even good traders make mistakes when they rush. Most of them are easy to avoid if you slow down and check each trade first. Here are the ones players make most often.

Picking the wrong pet version

A Neon pet and a normal pet can look alike in a hurry, but their values are very different. If you add the wrong version to the calculator, the result will be wrong too. Always check if the pet is Normal, Neon or Mega Neon, and whether it has Fly or Ride potions.

Forgetting the number of items

Two of the same pets are worth twice as much as one. Players sometimes add a pet once and forget there are more of it in the trade. Set the right quantity for every item, so the calculator counts everything.

Looking only at value and not at demand

A trade can be Fair on value but still leave you with items nobody wants. Low-demand items can take a long time to trade away later. Look at the demand stars before you accept, and choose items with more stars when you can.

Saying yes too fast

Some players rush you so you don’t have time to think. Take your time and run the trade through the calculator first. A real trader will wait a minute for your answer.

Not checking the final trade screen

The items in the game must match the items you checked in the calculator. A player could swap an item right before you accept. Look at both sides of the trade window one last time before you confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Adopt Me calculator free?
Yes, the calculator is free to use. You don’t need to pay anything or create an account. Just add the items for both sides and you’ll get your result straight away.
How does the Adopt Me calculator decide if a trade is fair?
It adds up the value of both sides and compares them. If the two sides are within 10% of each other, the trade is Fair. For example, if your side is worth 1,000 points, a trade worth 900 to 1,100 points is Fair.
Do I need to log in to use the Adopt Me trade calculator?
No, you don’t need to log in. Anyone can use the calculator. You only log in with Roblox if you want to post a trade ad or make offers on our trading page.
Can I use the calculator on my phone?
Yes. The calculator works on phones, tablets and computers. Just open the page in your browser. You don’t need to download any app.
Is a Win always a good trade?
Not always. You might win on value but get items that few players want. These can be hard to trade later. Check the demand stars as well as the result.
