A pet with high demand usually trades fast, and players may offer a little extra to get it. A pet with low demand can take longer to trade, and you may need to add something small to close the deal. Two pets with the same value can still be different trades because of demand.
Where Adopt Me pets come from
Most pets hatch from eggs, which you buy in the game with Bucks. Others come from events, like Halloween or Christmas, and from special offers that are only around for a short time.
While an egg or event is in the game, its pets are easy to get, so their values tend to stay low. When it leaves the game, the only way to get its pets is to trade for them. Over time, fewer of those pets are left, and their value often climbs. That is why many of the top pets on this list come from eggs and events that are no longer around.

Yes. Pet values go down as well as up. A pet can drop when demand falls, when an update brings in newer pets, or when a trend ends. Each card shows the date of its last change, so you can see how fresh the value is.
