Privacy policy

• You can use our value list and trade calculator without an account. Signing in is optional and works only with your Roblox account.
• We never see your Roblox password, and we never ask for it.
• We don’t sell your personal information.
• We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It uses cookies.
• We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads, including personalized ads. You can opt out (see below).

• When you just visit: like every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information (IP address, browser, page requested, referring page and time) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
• When you sign in with Roblox: your public Roblox profile (see below).
• When you use the trading board or vote: your trade ads, offers, reports, trade confirmations and votes, linked to your Roblox user ID.
• When you email us: your email address and message, used only to reply.

We don’t ask for your real name, address, phone number or payment details.

If you choose to sign in, you log in on Roblox’s own page, so we never see your Roblox password. With your permission, Roblox shares your public profile with us: your Roblox user ID, username, display name and avatar picture, and, if Roblox provides it, the date your Roblox account was created.

We use these only to show who is signed in, to show your trade ads and offers under your Roblox name, and (the account date) so that brand-new accounts don’t count when we check our values. We don’t receive your email address, and we can’t access your Roblox items, Robux or messages. To stop sharing, log out and remove Adopt Me Values Today from the authorized apps in your Roblox account settings.

When you post a trade ad or send an offer, we store it with your Roblox user ID, username, display name and avatar. Trade ads and offers are public: anyone can see the items, your note, your Roblox username and avatar. When an offer is accepted, the two players can see a link to each other’s Roblox profile. Trade ads close after 3 days. If you report a trade, we store your report with your Roblox user ID so we can check it.

We use what happens on our site to check and improve our values:

• Trade confirmations: after an offer is accepted, both players can tell us whether the trade happened. We store each answer with your Roblox user ID. Confirmed trades (the items on both sides) help us see what items really trade for.
• Value votes: if you vote on an item’s value (“too low”, “about right”, “too high”), we store your vote with your Roblox user ID, so each player votes once per item. We only show the total number of votes, never who voted.
• Item counts: we count how often each item is added to the trade calculator, found by search or opened. These counts are anonymous: we don’t store who you are, your IP address or a cookie with them, only a number per item per day.

We use this information only in totals (for example “42 trades this week”) to suggest value changes, which we review before they appear on the site.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser.

• Sign-in cookies (ours): if you sign in, we set two cookies to keep you signed in for up to 30 days: a secure one that proves who you are, and one that holds your username and avatar for the menu. Logging out deletes them. While you sign in, a security cookie is also set for up to 10 minutes.
• Settings in your browser (ours): the trade calculator remembers your theme, value mode, pet type and favorite items in your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
• Cookies from Google: Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies, as described below.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block our sign-in cookies, you can still use the value list and calculator, but you can’t sign in.

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, how long people stay, where visitors come from (the referring site and approximate location) and which devices and browsers they use. We only see combined statistics, not individual people, and we don’t send Google your Roblox details.

We use Google AdSense to show ads, which helps keep Adopt Me Values Today free.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at www.aboutads.info/choices. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they won’t be based on your interests. We don’t choose individual ads, and advertisers never receive your Roblox details from us.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads and related cookies are used, through Google’s consent message. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link shown on the site.

We rely on your consent for advertising and analytics cookies, on our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site for server records and the trading board, and on your request when you sign in or email us.

• to run the site, the sign-in and the trading board;
• to keep players safe: checking reports, stopping spam and scams;
• to check and improve our values (in totals only);
• to understand which pages are useful and fix problems;
• to show ads that pay for the site.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for anything else.

We use a few trusted companies to run the site. They only process information to provide their service:

• Cloudflare: hosting, security and the database that stores trade ads, offers, confirmations and votes.
• Roblox: the sign-in.
• Google: Google Analytics and Google AdSense.
• Our email provider: to receive and answer your emails.

Links to other websites, such as Roblox profiles, are provided for your information; those sites have their own privacy policies.

• Sign-in cookies: up to 30 days, or until you log out.
• Trade ads, offers, reports and confirmations: while the trading board needs them, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Value votes: deleted after 90 days.
• Item counts: anonymous daily totals, kept for up to about a year.
• Emails: only as long as needed to answer them.
• Analytics: according to our Google Analytics retention settings.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, such as your trade ads, offers and votes. Email contact@adoptmevaluestoday.com with your Roblox username.

• Europe, the UK and Switzerland: you also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your information, to receive a copy of it, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
• United States (for example California): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete or correct it, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”. We don’t sell personal information. Advertising cookies from Google may count as “sharing” for personalized ads; you can opt out with the links in the advertising section above. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.

We answer requests within 30 days.

Anyone can use our value list and trade calculator without signing in. Signing in, the trading board and votes are only for players aged 13 or older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has signed in or given us personal information, please email contact@adoptmevaluestoday.com, and we will delete it.

The whole site uses HTTPS. Sign-in sessions are signed so they can’t be faked, and we store only public Roblox profile details, never passwords or Roblox tokens. No website is 100% secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.

We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The version on this page is always the current one. If a change is important, we will also mention it on the site.
